The Jar Pickleball was founded by brothers Dylan and Spencer Janes, two lifelong athletes united by their love of the game — and their vision to bring something truly special to Toronto’s pickleball community.
Their journey began a few years ago while playing pickleball south of the border. What started as a fun discovery quickly turned into an obsession. When they returned home, they noticed something missing: Toronto didn’t have a dedicated indoor space where players could connect, play, and grow together year-round.
So, they built it.
Our Story
The Jar was born from a simple idea - that pickleball deserves a home as dynamic and vibrant as the people who play it.
From a handful of courts to a 12-court world-class facility, The Jar has grown into Toronto’s first and premier indoor pickleball club, welcoming players of all skill levels to share in the joy of the game.
More than just a place to play, The Jar is a community built on connection. Here, everyone is part of something bigger - whether you’re rallying with friends, joining a clinic, or unwinding in our lounges after a great match.
